10 Wrestlers Who Will Benefit The Most From The WWE Draft 2020

4. AJ Styles

WWE's fluid interpretation of the brand extension means it has been difficult for performers to become synonymous with the two brands of the main roster, yet AJ Styles seems to be intrinsically linked to the blue show and Friday nights. Styles has been a dominant feature on the brand for much of his WWE career, once carrying its world title for more than a year.

All that changes now, as The Phenomenal One was picked up by RAW in the draft. What does this mean for AJ Styles? Fresh opponents, a fresh place in which to do battle, maybe even a babyface turn and another run at the top of the table? All are possible routes that Styles can take, and few will bet against a man of his talents ticking all of the boxes in record time.

Perhaps more importantly, AJ Styles can now go and enjoy his son's football games. It is no secret that Styles wasn't overly thrilled about continuing to perform on Friday nights, so here's hoping he finds happiness after a move to Monday nights and the red brand.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
