10 Wrestlers Who Will Never Hold The World Title Again

7. Chris Jericho

We may not like it, but Chris Jericho's career is beginning to wind down. Actually, Y2J has previously stated that he plans to go out quietly - not with a tear-jerking retirement match - so it's possible that we've already seen the last of him inside a wrestling ring.

But until he confirms he's done, he's still a member of the WWE roster (albeit on a much-deserved hiatus), and it was only a couple of months ago that he was wearing the US belt - so surely a seventh world title reign is still within the realms of possibility, right?

Problem is we rarely see veterans win the world championship. Usually they - quite deliberately - begin to shun title glory as they head into their twilight years (the obvious examples being Undertaker and Shawn Michaels - Jericho being cut from the same cloth).
