10 Wrestlers Who Will Never Hold The World Title Again
3. Triple H
Now, in all fairness, it has only been a little over a year-and-a-half since 'The Game' began his 14th world title by winning the Royal Rumble at the beginning of 2016, the same year he closed out WrestleMania for the seventh time. So to say that he has been shunning the lime-light wouldn't be entirely inaccurate.
But at the same time: he is definitely shunning the lime-light. In fact, Triple H hasn't been seen on WWE TV since he ate a loss against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 33, having dove head-first into his corporate duties as executive vice president of talent, live events, and creative.
Granted, he is within tantalising reach of beating Ric Flair's world title record - but it is a record that is also being pursued with vigour by John Cena, and to have both of them better it at the same time wouldn't really make any sense.
