Wheeler Yuta might be struggling when it comes to his relationship with the Best Friends, but when it comes to excelling at professional wrestling, the newly crowned ROH Pure Champion is taking it to another level.

“A star is born,” Tony Khan tweeted following Yuta’s match with the brutal Jon Moxley.

His boss isn’t the only person Yuta has been impressing, either.

William Regal and the rest of the Blackpool Combat Club have taken a genuine interest in the rising star. Following the hard-fought bout on AEW Rampage, the pair even shook hands. Following this sign of respect, Wheeler Yuta used the blood from his open head wound to adorn his chest in the initials ‘BCC’.

The bouts with Danielson, Moxley and Josh Woods have highlighted Yuta’s wide-ranging wrestling ability. Be the contest technical or brutal, Yuta can deliver.

There is no doubt his presence in ROH will be integral to helping the brand continue flourishing.
