10 Wrestlers Who Will Succeed In Tony Khan's ROH

5. Jay Lethal

‘The Franchise’ may have lost the support of the audience by turning heel, but Jay Lethal found a compelling new direction following his victory over Lee Moriarty at Supercard of Honor.

While some have criticized Jay Lethal’s implementation during his AEW run, there is little validity to the claims that Lethal has somehow been ‘misused’.

Lethal’s mounting frustrations have allowed the former ‘Black Machismo’ to present viewers with a captivating story of lost honor as he prepares to play the villain in his upcoming battles with Jonathan Gresham, as well as his former mentor, the newly signed Samoa Joe.

It goes to show a little patience goes a long way, and thanks to the months of buildup, Lethal is poised to climb back to the mountaintop once again in a captivating fashion.

Lethal is an incredibly versatile wrestler. Whether he is a face or a heel, a hungry veteran or possessed by the spirit of ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage, the former and future ROH champion will play an integral part in the new ROH.

The cream always rises to the top, as they say.
