10 Wrestlers Who Will Win Their First WWE Title In 2018

7. Nia Jax

It feels as though Nia Jax has been on these lists for a number of years now, but championship success still eludes the RAW performer. When she turned on RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss earlier this year, it seemed as though the stage was set for a run at the title for Jax. Asuka’s arrival on RAW put an end to that, and now Nia is in limbo.

It may have replaced ‘turn heel’ as the catchall way to fix a superstar’s problems, but it seems obvious that Nia Jax will benefit massively from making the move over to SmackDown Live. Tamina Snuka is something of a budget-Nia on Tuesday nights, and it makes little sense to have a budget version when you could just as easily use the real thing.

Nia Jax needs to move to Tuesday nights and win the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Charlotte Flair vs. Nia Jax is still a match we are yet to see, and the same can be said for bouts with Becky Lynch, Natalya, Naomi and others. 2018 is going to be a pivotal year for the Wrecking Ball with a Million Dollar Smile.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
