The very first WCPW Women's Champion, Nixon Newell had tremendous matches against everyone from Bea Priestley to Katarina Leigh and Alex Windsor. WhatCulture's fan base adored Nixon for her Welsh valley girl sweetness, and loved her even more when she got feisty inside the ring against her rivals.

Nobody will forget her victory over Priestley in a Last Woman Standing match at WCPW Stacked 2016. That win secured Newell's name in the history books as the inaugural Women's Champ and further endeared her to an audience she'd long-since won over. They weren't the only ones looking on and admiring Nixon's work. WWE were too.

After signing a developmental deal this past April, Newell was scheduled to be part of the Mae Young Classic tournament before tearing her ACL. Her WWE career may have got off to a bumpy start, but Nixon has the potential to be a big hitter in NXT's female ranks once she recovers from injury.
