10 Wrestlers Who Would Have Made Better Managers

1. Kurt Angle (in 2016)

If that last entry wasn’t dubious, then I’d imagine this one certainly is, because in Kurt Angle we have one of the absolute greatest performers in the history of professional wrestling.

I’d like to stress that I’m exclusively talking about Kurt Angle in 2016, though. As in, the Angle who the WWE won’t medically clear to compete, and therefore the Angle that we don’t get to see on our TV screens each week.

I’m by no means saying that Angle should have never been a wrestler. That would be an utterly ridiculous claim. But with the way things are in 2016, a switch to management is definitely something that’s worth considering, if only as it could yield a return to the WWE.

Also, it’s probably worth mentioning that he was arguably just as good on the mic and in various backstage skits as he was inside the squared circle. Part of his character’s charm, during his early days at least, was his blissful ignorance to some of the things that came out of his mouth. That in itself sounds like a perfect fit for today’s less-raunchy product.

Plus, it would open up the possibility of the dream alliance of Kurt Angle and American Alpha...

Inside the ring, he’s already achieved everything he could have possibly dreamed of. So now may be time to replicate that success in the world of wrestling management.
