10 Wrestlers Whose Stock Has Risen In 2019

7. Matt Riddle

It's unclear whether or not WWE really know the kind of performer they have in Matt Riddle. All going well, he'll be lighting up main events on shows like Raw and SmackDown for years to come very soon. At least, he will be when he's good and ready. Nobody could ever accuse Riddle of lacking self-confidence.

He'll let the E know when he fancies a fresh challenge.

For now, NXT is working for him. There's no point in denying it, the guy is a future NXT Champion, and his legit fighting credentials play a big part in why. Fans know the often chilled out surfer bro he comes across as in promos can kick everyone's ass for real when the bell rings. He's also comfortable selling, which is crucial (and never a given for someone who's used to pasting faces in the shortest time possible).

Riddle's matches at TakeOver specials against Kassius Ohno, Velveteen Dream and Roderick Strong were exemplary. The fact he's already been given the WWE documentary treatment is highly encouraging too. This laid back but dangerous bro is going places.
