10 Wrestlers With The Most Gimmicks
9. Barry Darsow (10)
That name might not immediately ring a bell, but if you heard "Repo Man" or "Smash from Demolition," there would be so many chimes that you'd worry the Ding-Dongs were mounting a comeback.
Yes, Barry Darsow was once one of the longest reigning tag team champions in WWF history. But that only scratches the surface of his many gimmicks. Before his days in Vince McMahon's traveling circus, he toured the territories as Tsar Mongo, Crusher Darsow, and Krusher Khruschev, working the classic foreign heel schtick.
In WCW, he wrestled under his own name for a short time, before becoming the Blacktop Bully and battling with Dustin Rhodes in the back of an 18-wheeler on the highway. (They would both be fired after that match for blading. At a show called Uncensored. What a farce.)
Oddly enough, he would also spend time in WCW with two villainous golfer gimmicks: Mr. Hole-In-One and "Putting" Barry Darsow.
To this day, he's still cashing in on the nostalgia bucks as Demolition Smash, one of the least-sad revival acts in the market today.
