The most forgotten feud of 2012? The beef between Hunico and Ted DiBiase Jr. might just take the biscuit. Two talented performers, that cannot be denied, but by the beginning of 2012, there weren’t a huge amount of fans clamouring for the two to do battle in a series of matches. But hey, a bad reason for fighting is better than no reason for fighting.

So, why were they squabbling? Well, Ted DiBiase Jr. had decided to use his wealth for good, holding tailgate parties with fans outside WWE events, becoming a man of the people and building up his DiBiase Posse in the process. Future WWE Champion Jinder Mahal was the first to take umbrage with these gatherings, chastising DiBiase for squandering his money and choosing to hang out with peasants. Worse was to come.

Hunico was next to confront DiBiase. Why? Hunico hadn’t been invited to any of the DiBiase Posse get-togethers. This was reason enough for the two to have a series of matches, with Hunico eventually getting the upper hand before Ted went off for surgery. 2012’s worst feud was built around someone being annoyed that they weren’t invited to a party that you generally just show up for. Go figure.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
