2. Dolph Ziggler

A former two-time World Heavyweight Champion, Dolph Ziggler has been drifting like a rudderless ship for years.

He might be little more than a joyless SmackDown also-ran at this point in his career, but at the height of his powers, Ziggler was one of the most over members of the WWE roster. An excellent wrestler brimming with star power and charisma, Ziggler was dazzling audiences on a nightly basis, even though injuries deprived him of a lengthy reign with the top belt.

He looked to be on a great path towards the end of 2014 as part of John Cena’s Survivor Series team against The Authority. With all of his allies eliminated, Ziggler faced-off against Kane, Luke Harper, and Seth Rollins. Pinning all three of them (with Sting’s assistance on the final fall), Ziggler effectively ended The Authority as a stable, and looked set for another stratospheric push towards the top of WWE’s card.

Unfortunately, WWE completely undermined his victory by having The Authority reform shortly after, and Ziggler’s career has suffered ever since. He’s an excellent showman with a proven ability to connect with audiences and get over with the right creative backing, but, bewilderingly, WWE have never truly believed in him.

While not a perfect wrestler by any stretch of the imagination, Ziggler deserves much more than playing victim to the likes of Baron Corbin.
