3. Cesaro

One of the best technical wrestlers in the world today, The Swiss Superman has built up a considerable cult following over the years, and the “Cesaro Section” seems to grow with every passing Raw broadcast.

Strong, fast, and light on his feet, Cesaro is supremely athletic, and he chains his moves together with the kind of fluid precision that most wrestlers can only dream of. His in-ring performances are routinely excellent, and Cesaro churns out high-quality matches with next-to-no effort.

The excellent series with John Cena and his 2014 NXT Arrival clash with Sami Zayn remain obvious highlights, but Cesaro will pull off an entertaining match on a throwaway episode of Raw like it’s nothing.

He never fails to deliver in the ring, but Cesaro’s microphone deficiencies remain pretty obvious. Regardless, he was drafted egregiously low (28th overall) on Tuesday night, which suggests that despite his talents, WWE see Cesaro as no more than a placeholder at the foot of the US Title scene going forward.

Justifiably angered by his low Draft position, Cesaro laid into the company in a frustration-fuelled outburst shortly after SmackDown. Raw and unfiltered, it was the best promo of Cesaro’s WWE career thus far, and regardless of whether it was a shoot or not, it proves that he can be more than just a great technician if given half a chance.

Unfortunately, those opportunities have never looked less likely to materialise.
