Another individual who failed to reach the heights many expected of him in WWE before heading off to become a world champion in TNA, the career of Ken Kennedy will go down in history as one of the biggest 'what if's in pro wrestling.

If Kennedy hadn't been injured and subsequently suspended in the summer of 2007, he could well have gone on to be one of the biggest stars in modern day WWE.

We'll never know for sure whether or not it was Kennedy who was to eventually be revealed as the son or Mr. McMahon, but the signs were there. Kennedy wasn't just going to go on to become a world champion, he was going to go on to become a megastar.

In 2006 you wouldn't have been given odds on whether or not Mr. Kennedy would go on to become a WWE World Champion as it was pretty much the dictionary definition of 'inevitable'. But then, nothing is truly inevitable in the cray world of professional wrestling.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
