10 Wrestlers WWE Gave Up On In 2019

8. Mojo Rawley

Continuing the theme from Mike Kanellis, Mojo Rawley is part of a big group of wrestlers that WWE endeavoured to try something with earlier in the year only to abandon a few weeks down the line, leaving the performer drifting aimlessly down Creative Has Nothing For You Creek.

Mojo's rebirth barely got going. A February episode of Raw saw the former Hype Bro talking to himself in a mirror, saying it was time to stop being such a team player. Close to two months passed before this was followed up on, with Rawley back in his mirror, before he shattered it on the post-WrestleMania show. Now sporting blue facepaint, Mojo declared he had found himself. Here comes the push!

Or not. Rawley defeated Apollo Crews one month later but hasn't been seen on Raw since May.

Was Mojo ever a pushable commodity? That's debatable, but what was the plan here? What was the intended goal? What were WWE trying to do, and why did they randomly forget about Rawley for weeks on end before abandoning the project entirely?

A baffling situation.
