10 Wrestlers WWE Gave Up On In 2020

6. Drew Gulak

Scrape, scrape, scrape.

That's the sound Drew Gulak must be making right now as he digs around at the bottom of WWE's food chain desperately seeking any scraps of nourishment. This poor sod went from teaming with Daniel Bryan to warring over the tiresome 24/7 Title, and nobody is quite sure what the hell happened.

Gulak worked a stunning technical showcase with Bryan at Elimination Chamber, got released, rehired and then appeared to be on the right path when he was shunted into a tag with Dan. His career looked like it was very-much on the up-and-up, but everything has changed. His prospects are in the bloody toilet.

Creative don't seem sure what to do with him, and that's why he's in the 'extras' section vying for a belt nobody cares about in 2020. WWE witnessed what Drew can do first hand in February, and his tag with Bryan had legs, so this current booking is perplexing.
