10 Wrestlers WWE Has Given Up On

9. Cedric Alexander

Poor Cedric Alexander might have to follow suit, because his opportunities are more limited than ever under Vinnie Mac's watch. The former Cruiserweight has gone from flying high as part of The Hurt Business to jobbing on episodes of Main Event that nobody really pays attention to.

That's quite the tumble.

Most recently, Alexander did the honours for NXT 2.0's LA Knight on the 'C' show. That, more than anything, should let him know that he's someone WWE don't see as a prospect. The company might as well send Cedric a Twitter DM that says, "we're not pushing you lol". At least then he'd know once and for all.

The side issue Alexander worked with Shelton Benjamin, during which he ridiculed Shelty B for being old (how dare he) failed to reap any rewards either. In fact, it was so nondescript that WWE forgot about it when they reunited the pair as a tag-team shortly thereafter.
