10 Wrestlers WWE Has Given Up On

8. Mansoor

Mansoor's positional switch from 'designated local hero on Saudi Arabian stadium shows' to full-time Raw/SmackDown man hasn't really worked. It was never going to once WWE established their grand plan for the man's character; the bright-eyed and bushy-tailed Mansoor was treated like this was his first day on the job.

Backstage skits with The Viking Raiders and Mustafa Ali painted him like a total moron who could barely find the building without a step-by-step guide from his peers. It was a weird choice to portray someone you're already calling a "WWE Superstar" as a lowly scrub who barely knew where the locker rooms were.

That pattern has continued since May 2021, and it shows no signs of stopping. Mansoor's only story to date has been falling for Mustafa's tricks, which also made him look like WWE's resident thick babyface. Now, the promotion's top brass don't even seem interested in developing that persona.

He's in no man's land.
