10 Wrestlers WWE Has Given Up On

6. Ricochet

Shoots of recovery followed by crashing lows.

That could summarise Ricochet's main roster WWE run. This is a guy who has wrestled Brock Lesnar (well, been hammered by Brock) and put on some dazzling displays, but is also seemingly overlooked because he isn't The Rock when holding a mic in his hands.

Look at the high-flyer's recent fortunes for proof of his topsy turvy WWE career. One week, Rico was working a solid match with the ever-dependable Sheamus. He lost, but got a nice response from the live crowd and it seemed to be something he could build on. Exactly one week later, Ricochet was squashed by the same opponent and looked every bit like some local enhancement talent who'd been drafted in for a one-off shot.

This useless approach reeks, and it's hardly giving Ricochet a fighting chance to get over. Although the writers know he's someone who will give them a good match, they point blank refuse to go further with things.
