10 Wrestlers WWE Have Wasted Since WrestleMania 33

Some of 2017's best promo moments involved The Miz, to be fair - but they generally consisted of the former Intercontinental Champion being on the receiving end of John Cena zingers.

In the main, it's been a pretty frustrating year for the Awesome One (inside the ring anyway - he's had plenty to cheer about outside of it), who in April saw his role as one of SmackDown's biggest stars traded in for one as a Monday Night Raw also-ran.

Feuds since then with the likes of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns (and, occasionally, all three) have been solid, but it's nothing that's going to help him rekindle the sort of fire that helped him headline WrestleMania back in 2011.

Perhaps he'll never get back to that level, but he has to be worth more than jobbing in the Raw mid-card. If he had remained in Shane McMahon's Land of Opportunity after finishing up his feud with Cena in the spring, for example, there's a good chance we'd now be talking about him as a two-time WWE champ.
