10 Wrestlers WWE Must Sign After WrestleMania 33

9. Matt Riddle

Matt Riddle is a pro-wrestling wunderkind. Fresh off one of the most impressive rookie years in the sport’s history, the former UFC fighter has taken to his new profession like a duck to water. Put simply, Riddle is a natural who, with less than two years in the game, is already having incredible matches with some of the best in the world. He is a “once in a generation” kind of talent, and his WWE signing is inevitable - it’s just a matter of time.

Triple H has spoken highly of Riddle’s talents lately, and the current PROGRESS Atlas Champion was spotted in the crowd at TakeOver: San Antonio. Moreover, competing for EVOLVE (a company WWE is known to have a good working relationship with) should allow for an easy transition to WWE, and it should happen sooner rather than later.

Riddle is already there in the ring. His suplexes, submissions, and strikes are always perfectly-executed, and he has already mastered the art of putting a well-paced match together. Riddle’s infectious charisma and inherently likeable personality mean he has little trouble connecting with an audience, though there are still questions over his interview ability.

Regardless, it’ll be a long time before we see another talent like Matt Riddle, and WWE can’t afford to pass him up.
