10 Wrestlers WWE Must Sign For The Global Cruiserweight Series
2. Jack Evans
Well, if I keep putting Jack Evans on these lists someone might take notice eventually, right? Currently slaying dragons in Lucha Underground, Evans has seemingly been around forever and can rightly claim to have had a huge hand in what cruiserweight wrestling has become in the modern age. The things Evans can do in the ring border on the unbelievable, but it is the attitude and character that comes along with it that really impresses. He has the sort of style that crowds dearly, dearly wish to cheer, but Evans simply won't let them. He'll impress them, sure, but he'll never do it and sacrifice heel heat. Watch his work in Lucha Underground and you'll understand. Walking into such an environment claiming to have invented lucha libre takes balls, to say the least. Jack Evans in a WWE ring doesn't seem likely any time soon, but fantasy booking allows the unrealistic to become the possible. Jack Evans needs to be in the Global Cruiserweight Series. And you know this...maaaaaaaan!
Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
