10 Wrestlers WWE Should Have Signed YEARS Earlier

4. Nigel McGuinness

ROH

Chasing the Magic on the WWE Network perfectly sums up what not making it into a WWE ring meant to Nigel McGuinness. But as much as it broke his heart, it was also a tough deal for all of McGuinness' fans, the millions of loyal followers who'd stuck with him throughout his long and stories career.

In an ideal world, one in which McGuinness hadn't contracted Hepatitis B, perhaps things would have been different. Instead of lending his unique wit and wisdom to the commentary booth on NXT UK, he could have been schooling his opponents at WrestleMania.

McGuinness was one of the best pro-wrestlers in the world during his heyday and fans would no doubt have been in their element had he gone to WWE in 2009 instead of TNA. Let's not forget, 2009-era WWE had a roster that included CM Punk, Fit Finlay, and Low Ki, all men who would be more than able to steal the show in a match against the man who would instead become Desmond Wolfe.
