Former Ring of Honor wrestler Mike Bennett has enjoyed a sizeable TNA push since transitioning to the company back in January. “The Miracle” has been a regular fixture in the upper-midcard, and recent mounted an unsuccessful challenge for Lashley’s TNA World Heavyweight Championship on Impact. Should their future extend beyond the next few weeks, TNA have big plans for Bennett, and it’s easy to see why.

He’s a born sports entertainer. His ring work isn’t particularly flashy or eye-catching, which was always a hinderance in ROH and on the indies, and he’s far better-suited to working in a company like TNA or WWE. Bennett already wrestles like a WWE guy, and would make a seamless transition to the company regardless of the level he debuted at.

Furthermore, Bennett is a highly-effective heel with a proven ability to draw heel heat wherever he works. He has a marketable look, knows how to talk, and the obnoxious “Miracle” gimmick suits him to a tee. Bennett is a far cry from the hyped-up indie darlings that WWE’s recent signing policy has revolved around, but his skillset is almost perfect for the company, and it’s only a matter of time before they come knocking.
