10 Wrestlers WWE Should Retain If They Buy TNA
8. Sienna
NXT need to start building some credible challengers to Asuka’s throne. With Bayley, Alexa Bliss, and Nia Jax gone, threats to the Empress’s NXT Women’s Championship are thin on the ground, though WWE are doing a steady-job of building-up the likes of Liv Morgan, Ember Moon, and Billie Kay.
Regardless, NXT’s women’s division is undergoing a transitional phase, and it’ll take a while before any of Asuka’s potential opponents are built-up enough to provide a credible threat. Their best option might be to bring-in a couple of new faces in the interim, and TNA’s Knockout roster provides a handful of excellent workers.
Sienna has only been with TNA since April, but she’s already established herself as one of the company’s alpha females. A former Knockouts Champion, she’s a tall, powerful wrestler with “star” written all over her, and her MMA-inspired attacks help set her apart from the competition. Moreover, she’s an independent veteran whose best years are still ahead of her, and she’d be an easy sell as Asuka’s opponent.
With some refinement, she’d also be a great option on the main roster, and could certainly teach Nia Jax a thing or two about pulling-off convincing power-based offence. If WWE make the purchase and decide to expand their female talent pool, Sienna would be a great addition.
