10 Wrestlers WWE Shouldn't Rehire

2. Ric Flair

Triple H is a self-confessed Ric Flair mark.

That's not a bad thing, but it could lead 'The Game' to believe that his idol has "one more run" left in him. No, not as a full-time wrestler (or even a part-time one), but as an on-screen authority figure character or manager. After all, Ric can still promo with the best of them, right?

Truthfully, his mic work has been hit or miss for years. WWE's newfound looseness might suit Flair, but he also has a tendency to go into business for himself and try to rekindle the glory days of his 1980s pomp. Let's make something perfectly clear: Ric should not be outshining anybody in 2022.

Few honestly believe that he'll be able to resist another match after coming through that "last" one in late July. If Trips gets fooled into thinking that Ric deserves one more bout in WWE, then he's in for a nasty wake-up call. That tag effort at Starrcast, whilst interesting, was a rough watch.

Here's hoping it's the legend's last.
