This almost goes without saying at this point, right?

Ricochet has been crossing t’s and dotting i’s recently, and a move to WWE seems imminent. The Future of Flight became the first man to win PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles on two occasions, and is poised to win the PWG Championship for the first time in his career, or at least come close one last time.

Ricochet and Ryusuke Taguchi, known as Funky Future, dropped the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships to Roppongi 3K earlier this week, Ricochet giving Tokyo’s Sumo Hall a longing look on his way out. Taguchi will partner ACH in the forthcoming Super Jr. Tag Tournament, a clear sign that Ricochet is done with NJPW.

Lucha Underground season three is about to come to an end, contractually allowing Ricochet to appear on TV for another wrestling promotion. That comes into effect 90 days after the final episode of LU, meaning Ricochet can be on the TV from January 17.

NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia takes place on January 27 - what price The Future of Flight being shown sitting at ringside?

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
