Speaking of UFC fighters making the move to WWE, fans have been expecting Ronda Rousey to make her in-ring debut for a couple of years now. ‘Rowdy’ Ronda famously got physically involved with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H at WrestleMania 31, giving Hunter a hip toss and teasing an arm bar on Steph.

The WWE Universe began dreaming of a Rousey/Rock vs. Hunter/Stephanie match at WrestleMania 32, but that never came to be. Rousey has appeared in WWE since, appearing in the crowd alongside her fellow Horsewomen to cheer on Shayna Baszler in the final of the inaugural Mae Young Classic. The quartet faced off with three of the four NXT Horsewomen, and the WrestleMania rumours began again.

Rousey’s mixed martial arts career is as good as over, and a transition into professional wrestling seems to benefit all partners. It may not happen in time for WrestleMania 34, but expect ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey to start knocking out fools in WWE within 12 months.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
