7. Cody Hall

With all the goodwill now surrounding his Hall of Fame father, it is only a matter of time before Cody Hall swaps the dojos of Japan for the WWE Performance Center. Scott Hall was a big guy, but the 6’9” Cody already dwarfs his father. This mixture of size and genetics is going to keep him in the good books of WWE scouts.

Cody was trained by his father and DDP, but has spent the majority of his career paying his dues in Japan. He started out as Bullet Club’s own Young Boy, taking pins in tag team matches and gaining experience working with veteran stars. Cody was a little tentative at first, but his natural athleticism and God-given charisma soon began to shine through.

A serious injury brought an end to his NJPW run, and Cody has spent most of 2017 working tag team matches in Pro Wrestling NOAH. How long before he turns up in the WWE Performance Center? Cody is exactly the sort of talent that could benefit from a stint at the training facility, honing his natural in-ring ability and defining a character outside of ‘Razor’s son’ along the way.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
