10 Wrestlers You Didn’t Realise Wrestled For WWE In 1999

3. Stephanie McMahon

Before she'd desecrate the struggling women's division with a derivative title reign in 2000 and then laughably take ownership of the entire reinvention of the league in 2015, Stephanie McMahon made a forgotten wrestling debut in a victory over future company pariah Jeff Jarrett shortly before he departed for WCW.

Alongside then-fiancé Test, McMahon defeated the increasingly volatile 'Double J' after his partner Debra refused to tag in. Jarrett was cast as a misogynist at the time in the build-up to his Intercontinental Title match against Chyna, and had assaulted Janet the make-up lady backstage immediately before the contest.

An infuriated Debra refused to engage in the match, leaving Jeff prone to an attack from the red hot Test, who hit his impressive flying elbow drop to allow Stephanie to score the cover in less than two minutes. The crowd exploded for the pinfall, such was the investment in the Stephanie/Test relationship and the relative novelty of seeing Vince's daughter in a physical environment. This would stand in stark contrast to the McMahon family overload on the show less than a year later.

Jarrett snapped after the bell, locking Debra in the Figure Four Leglock and severing their relationship entirely as he creeped ever closer to the WWE's side exit.
