10 Wrestlers You Didn't Know Competed At Wrestle Kingdom

7. Robert Roode

Before he was GLORIOOOOOOOUS and before he had the best moustache in all of wrestling, Robert Roode was a mainstay in Total Nonstop Action.

The company now known as Impact has produced several great tag teams in its time, but perhaps none will be remembered more fondly than Beer Money Inc..

The duo of Roode and James Storm (who I think still holds the record for "Shortest Time Spent In NXT") were over as hell in TNA and captured tag team gold a record-tying five times.

The pair got a chance to show their skills in Japan when they challenged for the IWGP Tag Team Championships at Wrestle Kingdom V.

Storm and Roode competed in a triple threat tag match against Muscle Orchestra - made up of Manabu Nakanishi and Strong Man - and reigning champions, Giant Bernard (better known as Albert in WWE) and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson.

Anderson and Bernard successfully defended the titles, but it was great to see talented wrestlers as Roode and Storm perform on such a big stage.

Just imagine how successful Roode could have become if he'd stayed in New Japan? They probably would have even let him keep his moustache. Sigh.
