6. Andrade

Before he would would hold the NXT, United States. and "Love of Charlotte Flair" championships in WWE, Andrade was a huge star in Mexico as "La Sombra".

Under this name (and a cool mask), Andrade worked for CMLL promotion, where he helped found the Los Ignobernables stable.

Other members included current ROH star, Rush, and Tetsuya Naito, who was on excursion from New Japan at time. When he returned, Naito formed his own branch of the group - Los Ignobernables de Japon - who are still popular today.

Knowing this, it's not surprising that La Sombra himself made a few appearances in New Japan. In 2013, he defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to become only the fifth man in history to hold the IWGP Intercontinental Championship.

Two years earlier at Wrestle Kingdom V, La Sombra teamed with fellow Mexican star, Mascada Dorada (who would go onto become Gran Metallik in WWE) to defeat the team of Hector Garza (uncle of NXT star, Angel Garza) and the legendary Jyushin Thunder Liger.

Not only did his appearance at Wrestle Kingdom help New Japan, but by being a part of that original Los Ignobernables stable in Mexico, La Sombra changed the face of the company for good.
