A few months before becoming Killian Dain in NXT, 'The Beast of Belfast' made his Impact Zone debut for the company's fourth Joker's Wild instalment into the One Night Only franchise. Sadly, he would've been better off without this show in his history books.

Teaming with Jimmy Havoc, the then-Big Damo lost to Drew Galloway and Mike Bennett in a qualifier for the same night's Gauntlet Battle Royal. While One Night Only tended to not focus on the week-to-week stories as these events were taped months in advance, that wasn't the case here, as Galloway and Bennett (then-rivals) argued throughout the contest, with the former doing much of the heavy lifting.

That's why the match sucked. It was essentially Galloway vs. Damo and Havoc in a two-on-one situation. 'The Scottish Warrior' thrived against two formidable opponents when, in reality, it should've been the opposite.

Even though the future NXT Tag Team Champion would get in a decent amount of offence, albeit thanks to Bennett refusing to help his partner, it didn't matter. Damo and Havoc were made to look inadequate. So much for giving British wrestlers a platform on their own home turf.

Oh, and the commentary team at the time, Josh Mathews and 'The Pope' D'Angelo Dinero, cared more about Damo's hairy back and Mathews' weekly taxes than they did the match. Yay for...taxes?
