10 Wrestlers You Probably Won’t See In WWE Again

4. Ethan Carter III

The noise which was heard when the camera landed on Ethan Carter III during NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia made you think we were witnessing the beginning of an epic WWE journey.

Yet, things just didn't pan out as expected for the returning EC3. Instead of giving him a microphone and letting him do what he does best, as soon as the star landed on the main roster he was handed a red cup and quickly relegated to primarily appearing on Main Event.

Thankfully, EC3 was another star mercifully given his marching orders by WWE during the Black Wednesday releases and has since returned to his old Impact Wrestling stomping grounds.

This new, brooding version of the 'Top 1%' now seems hell bent on destroying his past and the wrestler immediately looks like he's motivated to prove that his time in WWE was merely a blip in his otherwise compelling career.

In 2018, EC3 was one of the hottest stars on the planet and WWE still found a way to make him feel like just another faceless mid-carder within months of him being called up to the main roster. If the former Impact World Champion can rediscover the epic form which brought him back to WWE in the first place, don't expect him to risk it all for another run in the Land of the Giants.
