10 Wrestlers You Should Be Most Thankful For This Year

9. Minoru Suzuki

By the time most wrestlers have turned 47, they've either scaled back their schedules or retired from the business entirely. That's not the case with Minoru Suzuki, who's only become more dangerous - and cantankerous - as he's gotten older. Suzuki kicked off 2015 with a huge win over former MMA superstar Kazushi Sakuraba, defeating him in a UWF rules match at Wrestle Kingdom 9. After that, things really picked up for "The Man with the Worst Personality in the World," (yes, really) as he and his Suzukigun stable invaded New Japan Pro Wrestling's sister promotion, Pro Wrestling NOAH. Suzukigun soon captured all of the company's championships, with Suzuki himself defeating Naomichi Marufuji for the GHC Heavyweight Title. Since then, Suzukigun has run roughshod over NOAH, with the champion defending the title against all comers. He's currently set for another showdown with Marufuji in December, and the result will likely be a classic.
