10 Wrestlers You Were Too Embarrassed To Admit You Loved

6. Constable Corbin

Baron Corbin was going absolutely nowhere in 2017 after a double-stuffed John Cena burial saw him lose his Money In The Bank briefcase and biggest match of his main roster tenure in a matter of days.

Had it been 2005, Corbin may have had to clip his dreadful locks just to keep a push, but doing it over a decade later seemed to have a transformative impact on his career. 'The Lone Wolf' went from forgotten man on Monday Night Raw to the show's 'Constable' then acting General Manager.

It's the same old story for the most part - Corbin cowers anywhere near Stephanie McMahon, favours all the heels. banters off the babyfaces - but something about the snivelling toad wrestling in his work clothes and sneering down his six-foot-plus beak at the Finn Bálors of the world is oddly satisfying in this era of babyface graveyards and cool heels.

Corbin's neither by miles, and it's just nice to see a character earn the reaction he's supposed to have. Him getting not one jot better in the ring has helped the aesthetic immensely, too.
