10 Wrestlers You Will Never See In WWE Hall Of Fame

3. Sabu

This is another Scott Steiner situation not because Sabu has ever called Stephanie McMahon a "c*nt" (at least not publically), but because the ECW icon doesn't want to be part of it.

"I care nothing about the WWE Hall of Fame" is what he told WrestleTalk in 2015, saying the ceremony wasn't to honour wrestlers, but make money for WWE. "It's the fakest Hall of Fame I have ever heard of," he added, and if asked, he'd accept the invitation, then "go up to do my speech and motherf*cker them."

ECW standouts don't often receive consideration for Hall of Fame spots though if they did, Sabu's name would be near the top of the list. A symbol of Paul Heyman's cult promotion, his innovative, destructive wrestling style was a pivotal component of the group's identity. That his matches would frequently come off the rails didn't matter. Sabu's car crash appeal was part of what made him Sabu and he was a legitimate draw outside of wrestling's mainstream tier, though he was never as successful in promotions like WWE and TNA as he was under Heyman.
