10 Wrestlers You Will Never See In WWE Hall Of Fame

2. Chris Benoit

Owen Hart Hall of Fame
WWE Network

Erased from WWE history for brutally murdering his wife Nancy and seven-year-old son Daniel before taking his own life, pigs will fly, dinosaurs will return to the earth, and dogs shall develop the ability to speak before Chris Benoit ever has his name tags added to the Network, nevermind the Hall of Fame.

Making a "separate the artist from the art" argument is pointless because WWE's stance will never shift. Why even bother? Benoit's wrestling résumé is glittering and he was one of the most talented performers in the world for a long, long time, but that doesn't matter to WWE. The decision-makers don't want to be connected to someone who committed such monstrous acts - and they won't waver.

That suspected murderer Jimmy Snuka still resides in the Hall of Fame isn't a precedent either, as he was inducted 24 years ago and would likely have been removed if he hadn't been deemed unfit to stand trial in 2015. The Ultimate Warrior was brought back into the fold but he wasn't a double-murderer, just a lunatic with rancid personal views: nothing, compared to Benoit.
