10 Wrestlers You Won't Believe Are Still Employed By WWE

8. Marina Shafir & Jessamyn Duke

Remember Shayna Baszler's pals Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke? They were introduced on the first all-female Evolution pay-per-view in 2018 and helped Baszler beat Kairi Sane. They ticked along nicely in the background as Shayna's buddies after that until WWE called her up to the main roster.

Since then, Shafir and Duke have done next-to-nothing.

Their only flirtation with the big time came when the MMA pair worked some 'Raw Underground' stuff in August 2020. That failed to land them a proper gig on the brand, and they faded back into obscurity just as quickly as they'd shown up. That's pretty much it aside from one, more recently, opportunity for Shafir.

She had a 'blink and you'll miss it' appearance in the first ever women's Dusty Classic tournament on the 29 January 205 Live. There, Marina teamed with Zoey Stark to lose to Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon in just over seven minutes.

The Baszler days seem like a distant memory.
