10 Wrestlers You Won't Believe Are Still Wrestling

4. The Brooklyn Brawler

Steve 'Brooklyn Brawler' Lombardi is one of the most tenured superstars (using that term loosely) in the history of WWE. Signing in 1983, Lombardi served the company as their minor league Glass Joe for the better part of 33 years, before, his in-ring appearances having wound down three years prior, he quietly left the company in 2016.

It's possible, like a slew of wantaways looking towards AEW in 2020, that Brooklyn's finest wanted opportunities; soon after leaving Stamford, Lombardi was inundated with independent dates, sketchily promoted as a 'WWE Legend' for many of them. Thanks to a relatively light schedule and limited bumps courtesy of cushy behind-the-scenes roles, the 58-year-old can still go about as well as ever - and on occasion, even reprises his role as one of Doink the Clown's many incarnations.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
