10 Wrestlers You Won't Believe Beat The Undertaker

2. Vladimir Kozlov (SmackDown February 27, 2009)

Vladimir Kozlov debuted on Smackdown in 2008 and immediately got a push as the invincible anti-American heel -- basically, think Rusev, but with no mouthpiece to cut promos for him and no real talent. He started out by squashing jobbers, then moved on to name talent. Before long, he was feuding with Jeff Hardy and WWE Champion Triple H. A three-way dance was made for the Survivor Series, but Hardy was taken out beforehand, leading to a one on one contest. In a bout that won the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Worst Match of the Year award, Triple H and Kozlov stunk up the ring until a returning Edge was added to the bout, pinning HHH for the title. Kozlov was still technically undefeated, though. He entered the Elimination Chamber in 2009, but was pinned by The Undertaker, ending his nearly year-long streak. This injustice would not stand. The two clashed on the February 27th episode of Smackdown in a long, competitive match that everyone expected the Phenom to win. When he went up top to deliver his Old School attack, though, Kozlov scooped him off the rope, planted him with a powerslam, and scored the clean victory! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itIcZbHcE6g Perhaps even more surprising than the victory itself was the way WWE failed to capitalize on it. Surely, by that point, Kozlov's lack of talent couldn't have been a surprise to the company, so why the change in plans? He began to lose singles matches after defeating The Undertaker and was soon moved to the ECW brand. His fall from grace only makes the win seem more stunning in retrospect.
