The Acolytes Protection Agency, consisting of two of the toughest wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots in Bradshaw and Faarooq, took on the future Universal Champion Brock Lesnar in a tag match before Sunday Night Heat on January 22nd 2002.

Lesnar teamed with Ron Waterman in a losing effort. The APA were tasked with seeing if Lesnar and Waterman could ultimately hang. Lesnar could, but evidently, Waterman could not.

Lesnar would go on to win countless accolades in his career but Waterman would be released from his contract around the same time Brock won his first WWE Championship from The Rock at SummerSlam. In the match, Bradshaw picked up the win with a vicious-looking Clothesline From Hell on Waterman as Lesnar and Ron Simmons ferociously fought at ringside.

The APA clashed with Lesnar once more when he had a better tag partner in tow in Big Show on an episode on SmackDown once Lesnar was established where they all beat the hell out of each other. Brock got his victory back over Bradshaw too when they were on the Raw brand together in mid-2002 by F5-ing him.
