10 Wrestlers You Won't Believe Defeated Brock Lesnar

3. Hugh Morrus

Hugh Morrus was a Velocity and Jakked regular, with the office never getting behind him the same way WCW built him up to be. He never came close to the United States Championship reigns he attained there.

He later became a controversial figure when it comes to training developmental talents amid allegations of severe misconduct from former trainees. Regardless, in 2002, Hugh was entrusted in showing a young Lesnar the ropes.

Hugh wasn’t doing anything of consequence at the time, having been severely lost in the shuffle with the overabundance of talent the WWE had in mid-2001, when WCW and ECW wrestlers crossed over to the main WWE roster and overpopulated the TV time available for active wrestlers (even with two core shows in Raw and SmackDown).

Lesnar and Morrus first tagged together in a losing effort to Billy & Chuck before wrestling each other in dark matches in January 2002. Morrus scored two victories in a row when they fought on the 12th and 13th. The idea that General Hugh G. Rection beat the former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock clean multiple times is staggering. It’s like suggesting Glacier or Mantaur once beat Brock Lesnar.
