10 Wrestlers You Won't Believe Defeated Brock Lesnar

Mr. Perfect and Brock Lesnar were close friends before Perfect’s untimely passing in 2003.

They got on well as they both hailed from Minnesota with amateur backgrounds, and many fans don’t know Curt Hennig and Brock wrestled each other for WWE as none of their matches were televised. But Curt and Brock had multiple matches in Brock’s early career.

They just passed each other at the right time to do so in 2002, with Brock’s debut imminent and Mr. Perfect having just returned at the previous year's Royal Rumble. Brock’s long-time rival and fellow amateur, Kurt Angle, never had the opportunity Brock had to clash with Mr. Perfect in what would have been a dream match.

Mr. Perfect first defeated Lesnar in a dark match on January 28th 2002. Footage now exists online of the encounter. He defeated him again on February 9th but on February 10th Lesnar stopped the hat trick from happening when he beat Perfect.

None of the above were Lesnar and Perfect’s most famous clash, however, with that belonging to notorious ‘The Plane Ride From Hell’ when they tussled 38,000 feet in the air. Wanting to know who the better grappler was, they tussled high in the sky. Brock is now friendly with Hennig’s son, Curtis Axel, who helped train Lesnar when he made his comeback to WWE.
