10 Wrestlers You Won't Believe Defeated Brock Lesnar
5. Spike Dudley
Spike Dudley had a surprising amount of success in WWE for as small as he was, winning the Cruiserweight Championship, European Championship and the Hardcore Championship eight times. He was always portrayed as the underdog who maybe could go the distance.
In a dark tag match in February 2002, Brock Lesnar, and unbelievably Leviathan (who would later become a Guardian of the Galaxy as Drax and Hall of Famer as Batista), lost to Spike Dudley and Tazz. Spike and Tazz were the Tag Team Champions at the time (winning them from Spike’s kayfabe brothers and fellow ECW alumni The Dudley Boyz), having recently formed a favoured (and underappreciated) tag team together.
Lesnar got the victory back many times over against Spike. One week before Brock debuted, he crushed Spike with an F5 for a quick win in a dark match. Then when Lesnar debuted he ran through and destroyed Al Snow, Maven and Spike Dudley. Lesnar repeatedly crushed Spike too on the house shows that followed that angle
In an interview, Spike has claimed he “b**ch slapped the s**t” out of Lesnar for a rib when working with him which maybe is just the bravest thing anyone has ever done in pro wrestling.
