10 Wrestlers You Won't Believe Got The Better Of Vince McMahon

1. Goldberg

For the longest time, Goldberg was a retired old dude who couldn't give half a f*ck about the petty digs Triple H aimed in his direction.

His first WWE run was abysmal because he was forced into a very unflattering, mandated role of "absolutely f*cking enormous babyface has to sell for ages because you thick plebs must be reminded of the very concept of sympathy every damn time".

He was exposed as a performer who really wasn't good at it. Goldberg and sympathy are oxymoronic terms that sit uneasily - and tediously - alongside one another. His aura and enthusiasm drained almost immediately, Goldberg got the hell out of dodge at the very first opportunity.

As he enjoyed the family life in retirement, Vince McMahon bungled star after star and came to rely on the nostalgic names of yesteryear. But not Da Man, surely. He was a Dubya See Dubya guy who didn't even know how to work!

But yes. Goldberg. The recipient of such counterproductive, vindictive Vince bullsh*t was drafted back into the fold in 2016. And he beat Brock for f*ck's sake!

It's like Diamond Dallas Page going over the Tribal Chief!
