6. The Boogeyman

The Boogeyman seemed to be one of Vince McMahon’s guilty pleasures, which is always a good way to stay employed. After his debut, he received a surprisingly big push on the SmackDown brand, and basically squashed Booker T at WrestleMania 22. When he was shipped off to ECW, though, he was on borrowed time.

Perhaps it was because Vince didn’t care that much about ECW, or maybe the clock smashing, worm eating act had simply run its course. But in his new residence, Boogy started to become an afterthought, and he seemed to have lost all of his in-ring abilities by the end of his run. He was relegated to putting over Big Daddy V, which was a job that no man should have had to take on.

Boogy still makes some appearances now and then, but he apparently wasn’t a very good fit in the land of extreme.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
