10 Wrestling Careers Damaged By WWE Backstage Politics
5. Bam Bam Bigelow
Bam Bam Bigelow is often regarded one of the most athletic big men in wrestling history, capable of both speed, strength and aerial maneuvers, which can not be said for every true heavyweight wrestlers. Although his look, in-ring capabilities and mic skills were all fantastic, Bam Bam Bigelow was always in the wrong place at the wrong time, whether it was in WCW or WWF, either company pushed him to the bottom of the barrel as he wasn't friends of the dominant clique. After a promising start in 1992, Bigelow seemed to be on the rise as one of the company's premiere heels which the company needed. Creative made the mistake of then turning Bigelow face, as a result he was soon shuffled to the bottom of the pack due to the Kliq - both Shawn Michaels and Diesel had recently turned face and wanted to retain the two top spots. Bigelow should have been a dominant force wherever he landed, but the wrestling industry of the 90's was always concerned more with connections and charisma, than pure athletic talent.
