Anyone who has tuned in to shoot interviews about Vince McMahon before may know that he enjoyed pushing people into his mansion pool. Jerry Lawler wasn't to know that back in 1993, but he'd soon get a first hand education in McMahon's childish prank.

It almost stopped Vince from being backstage at WrestleMania IX.

The day of the show, outside Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, Lawler took a walk with Vince around the place. As they passed some nearby fountains, McMahon suddenly rushed his new employee and tried to push him into the water. Unfortunately for the boss, Jerry dodged his tackle and McMahon went head first into the fountain.

Lawler admitted on his Dinner With The King podcast how horrified he was when Vince told him he'd hurt his ribs. At that precise moment, King pondered what 'Mania would be like without McMahon pulling the strings backstage.
