9. Trish Stratus Initially "Rolled Her Eyes" At Bra & Panties Matches

Despite coming from a fitness model background and thus being well-versed in posing half-naked, Trish Stratus wasn't a fan of stripping down to her underwear in wrestling matches. In fact, Trish told the Niagara Falls Review this week that she found the whole thing embarrassing and would often roll her eyes when told about plans for WWE's women.

Knowing she couldn't fight city hall, so to speak, Stratus went along for the ride and agreed to work lingerie-based matches to satisfy what the creative team wanted early in her career. At the same time however, she yearned to do more serious wrestling.

Eventually, Trish would get her wish.

Her early days as eye candy for Test and Albert similarly left her wanting a more credible role. Still, Stratus knew her role and played it to the best of her ability. It must have been a huge relief when she was finally booked to wrestle rather than roll around in her smalls.
